Triple Play: Periwinkles

Triple Play is a favorite tradition here at Missouri Star. Once a month, Jenny, Misty, and Natalie each demonstrate their own, unique spin on a favorite block, technique, or template. In this episode, the talented Doan ladies show off three fabulous new quilts made with the Periwinkle / Wacky Web Template.
Jenny's Periwinkle Dot Quilt is made with 10 inch squares from the Prairie collection by  
 Lori Holt for Riley Blake. (Don't miss the cute cheater cloth backing that looks like intricate patchwork!) She also used the Wacky Web template for 5 inch squares, Wacky Web Triangle Paper Refills, and a glue stick. This quilt is finished with a pretty pieced border--with enough left over to make a bonus table runner!
Natalie's Periwinkle Pop is also made with precut layer cake squares. Her fabric is Gloria 10" Squares by Maureen Cracknell for Art Gallery Fabrics. And Misty's Periwinkle Squared dazzles with Shine On 10" Squares by Sharon Holland for Art Gallery Fabrics.
